PSC-BBS 1150 and 1700 Mid to High Temperature Calibration Source

Description

Two Blackbodies perfect for mid to high temperature applications. User selectable temperature set points within 200° to 1150°C (BBS 1150) or 300° to 1700°C (BBS 1700). Simply adjust the set point on the precision digital PID controller to any temperature within the specified temperature ranges and the two BlackBodies should stablize and begin reading.

Process Sensors blackbody calibration source Model BBS 1700 features a high emissivity of +0.99 and a 1″ (25mm) aperture. The PSC-BBS 1700 delivers a temperature ranging from 300°C to 1700°C. To change the temperature, you adjust the set point on the precision digital PID controller to any temperature. But, within the specified temperature range. Upon reaching the user selectable set point temperature, the model BBS 1700 will stabilize and produce a temperature reading to within 0.5°C. This assures high accuracy calibration of non-contact infrared thermometers, thermal imaging camera systems, focal plane array detectors, etc.

The BBS 1150 blackbody calibration source features a

high emissivity of +0.995 with a large 2” aperture and

superior uniformly heated spherical cavity.

Simply adjust the set point on the precision digital PID

controller to any temperature from 200°C to 1150°C

(392°F to 2102°F).

The Model BBS 1150 will attain the set point

temperature stabilize and produce the radiometric

temperature readings necessary for precision calibration

of non-contact infrared thermometers, thermal imaging

detectors/camera, focal plane array detectors, heat fl ux

meters, spectrophotometers and optical devices.
