Description
The MINITRAC 32 is a radiation-based sensor for density measurement. It is a rugged nuclear detector, well suited for a variety of non-contact density and short level measurements. It is ideal for continuous density measurements of liquids or slurries where the pipe translates extreme vibration to the detector. It is equally well suited for installation on high-pressure spool pieces that are repeatedly installed and removed via hammer unions.
Key benefits
- Simple retrofitting during production processes
- High plant availability through non-contact measurement
- Integral display and adjustment interface (optional)
- Relay input for “auto zero”
- Double-encapsulated electronics and a ruggedized scintillator make the system highly resistant to vibration and shock
- NaI scintillation crystal is very sensitive, minimizing the required source size
- Integrated electronics eliminate the need for remote evaluation or processing
- Backed by superior service and responsiveness
- Repeatability to 0.5% of span
