Employee Spotlight: Michael Stevenson

In June, we interviewed a member of the BBP Instruments team, Michael Stevenson, about his life, role at BBP, and what it is like at our company. As an experienced member of the BBP Instruments team, Michael uses his technical knowledge and industry experience to serve our customers at BBP daily. He is always prepared to support the outside sales team, and share his knowledge with new members of the Instruments team. We’re so proud to have Michael on our team at BBP!

What is your role at BBP? To develop proposals, quotes, process customer orders, and support outside sales team while providing a high level of service to BBP’s customers.
How long have you been in the industry? 25 years
What do you enjoy most about your role? I really enjoy speaking with customers and learning about the different ways they use the products that BBP provides.
What makes you proud to work at BBP? Our employees! BBP has a great team of employees who are always willing to help each other in any situation.
What are 3 words to describe BBP? Trust, Driven, Teamwork
What is something that most people do not know about you? I became an Eagle Scout in February 1991.
What is your favorite quote? Let’s leave this world a little better than we found it (Robert Baden Powell)
Motto or Personal Mantra: It will be a good day because it’s my choice.
If I could do it all over again, I would: Not change anything. It’s the choices and decisions good and bad that make us who we are. I’ve been blessed to experience a wonderful life and am thankful for the opportunity to live it.

What advice do you have for prospective BBP employees? Always keep moving forward and keep your mind open to learning new things. BBP is a wonderful company to work for and you will gain a lot of knowledge from your peers at BBP.
