At BBP, experience meets energy through team members like Kent Stump, a Valve Sales Specialist based in Hoover, Alabama. With an impressive 40 years in the industry, Kent brings deep knowledge, steady leadership, and a true team-first mindset to everything he does.

Kent’s role centers on supporting sales efforts, helping generate customer interest, and ultimately winning business. What keeps him motivated after four decades? Being part of a team and collaborating with driven, intelligent people who push each other to succeed.

Family plays a big role in Kent’s life. He and his wife Debbie, a biology teacher, have two children and are proud grandparents to three. When he’s not working, Kent carries a lifetime of memorable experiences, from cycling 221 miles in just 21 hours to mastering the slopes as a skilled snow skier.

Kent’s perspective on life is grounded in effort and authenticity. His personal mantra is simple: give every job your best. That mindset shows up in how he approaches both his work and his relationships with customers and colleagues.

He also values communication and intentionality, offering this advice to future BBP team members: always think about how your message will be received before hitting send. It’s a small step that makes a big impact.

With decades of experience and a commitment to doing things the right way, Kent continues to be a steady, reliable force on the BBP team.
