We are excited to introduce Cecilia Stout, the talented Application Engineer for Sensors at BBP.
Meet Cecilia Stout, based in Greenville and originally from Charlotte. Cecilia has been in the industry for two years, bringing her expertise to the BBP team. As an Application Engineer, she’s dedicated to working closely with account managers and customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions. Her role is all about collaboration and problem-solving, and she thrives on hearing about field experiences and helping customers find long-term solutions.
Cecilia is proud to work at BBP because of the company’s focus on delivering lasting solutions instead of quick fixes. In her words, “BBP truly knows the products they sell and prioritizes long-term success for their customers.” She describes BBP with three powerful words: Growth, Efficiency, and Service.
What most people don’t know about Cecilia? She once hiked from Georgia to Maine! Her adventurous spirit and determination carry over into her professional life as well. Cecilia’s favorite quote by Henry David Thoreau, “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours,” perfectly reflects her approach to life and work.
Cecilia’s personal mantra, “There’s always room to grow,” guides her in everything she does, from her day-to-day responsibilities at BBP to her personal pursuits. She believes in continuous improvement and growth, a mindset that helps her succeed in the fast-paced world of industrial solutions.
If she could do it all over again, Cecilia wouldn’t change a thing. Her journey has shaped who she is today, and she’s proud of the path she’s taken. For her dream dinner party, Cecilia would invite an eclectic group of people: Chris McCandless, Henry David Thoreau, Amy Winehouse, and Stephen King—a gathering that promises fascinating conversations!
If Cecilia’s life had a theme song, it would be “Vaporize.” She loves alternative and rock music, always selecting tunes that fit her mood and energy.
For prospective BBP employees, Cecilia offers this advice: “It’s a quick learning process and can feel overwhelming at first, but the rewards are worth it in the end.” Her two years in the industry have taught her the value of perseverance, learning, and growth.
