With 35 years in the industry, Rudy Hebert brings experience, honesty, and a global perspective to his role as a Field Service Technician at BBP. Based in Gonzales and originally from Donaldsonville, Rudy supports customers both in the shop and in the field, handling everything valve related, from technical service to sales and customer support.

Before BBP, Rudy traveled the world as a global field technician, gaining firsthand experience with different cultures and industries. Travel remains one of the things he has enjoyed most throughout his career. Today, what makes him most proud is simple. He loves his “little company” and the people he works alongside each day.

Rudy believes that BBP’s values of Like, Trust, and Commitment begin with one core principle: honesty. In his words, when honesty is present, the rest will follow. His straightforward mindset shows up in his favorite quote, “Ya think long, ya think wrong,” and his personal mantra, “What you give is what you get.”

Outside of work, Rudy has a creative side that many may not expect. He can draw, sketch, sculpt, and paint. If his life had a theme song, it would be Cats in the Cradle, and his music taste leans toward rock and alternative.

When asked what advice he would give to prospective BBP employees, Rudy keeps it real. Relax and give yourself time to absorb BBP. Coming from the corporate world, he experienced culture shock at first, but in a good way.

We are proud to have Rudy on the BBP team and appreciate the experience, honesty, and character he brings to our customers and our company every day.
