Based in Baton Rouge, Peter Bruton serves as an Application Engineer on BBP’s inside sales team. With four years in the industry, Peter supports both customers and colleagues while doing what he enjoys most: working alongside a great team.

For Peter, the family environment at BBP is what truly sets the company apart. He describes BBP with three simple but meaningful words: Like, Trust, and Commitment. Outside of work, Peter has a creative side many may not know about. He has been playing the violin for more than 20 years.

Peter lives by the mantra “Take it one step at a time” and draws inspiration from his favorite quote from The Lorax: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing’s going to get better. It’s not.” If given the chance to do it all over again, his answer is short and confident: not.

One of Peter’s more unique answers is who he would most like to share a dinner with. He chose himself at ages 5, 10, 15, and 20. If his life had a theme song, it would be “Goofy Goober Rock,” and his music taste knowns no bounds, ranging from country to EDM. For anyone considering a career at BBP, Peter offers honest advice: “Survive the first three months. It gets easier.”

Peter’s authenticity, humor, and team-first mindset make him a valued part of the BBP team, and we are proud to have him on the team.
