Meet Mark Leonard, an Application Engineer who has been delivering expert assistance and thoughtful solutions for an incredible 35 years in the industry. Born and raised in Norton, VA, where he still resides today, Mark plays a vital role in providing quotes, order entry, and technical support to Account Managers across BBP. Every day, he’s working hard to solve customer challenges and help the team thrive.

What does Mark enjoy most about his role? It’s the variety! Mark loves that no two days are the same, and he thrives on the interactions he has with Account Managers and customers. Being able to offer real solutions keeps the work exciting and rewarding for him.

Mark is proud to work at BBP because of the people. To him, BBP feels like a family, from management to every team member, and that sense of camaraderie and trust makes every day better. When asked to describe BBP in three words, Mark doesn’t hesitate: LIKE / TRUST / COMMITMENT.

Here’s a fun fact about Mark: when he’s not hard at work, he’s often off the grid flyfishing in a secluded mountain stream, surrounded by nature’s beauty, a peaceful pastime that recharges his spirit.

Mark’s favorite quotes are “Reading is Fundamental” and “Knowledge is Power,” both reflecting his deep appreciation for learning and growth. His personal mantra, “You will get out of it, what you put into it,” has been a guiding force throughout his life and career. Looking back, Mark wouldn’t change a thing, he treasures the lifetime of memories and adventures he’s experienced.

For his dream dinner party, Mark would keep it close to home, inviting his wife, twin sons, and their wives, a testament to his deep family values and close-knit relationships.
